You (“User”) are about to access the Internet through a wireless access node (“Node”) provided by the ON BASE WIFI Atsugi (“ON BASE WIFI”) Division of Commander, U.S. Naval Air Facility, Atsugi, United States Navy; ON BASE WIFI Yokosuka (“ON BASE WIFI”) Division of Commander, Fleet Activities, Yokosuka, United States Navy or ON BASE WIFI Sasebo (“ON BASE WIFI”) Division of Commander, Fleet Activities, Sasebo, United States Navy. This wireless Internet access (“Service”) is provided free of charge as a public service by ON BASE WIFI. You may use the Service only if you agree to the following terms of service (“Agreement”) each time you access the Service. If you do not agree with what you read below, then you must disassociate your hardware from the network immediately, and you may not connect to the network again until such time that you do agree with the following terms and conditions. ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
Access to the Service. The Service is a free public service provided by ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network. Your access to the Service is completely at the discretion of the ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network and your access to the Service may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of this Agreement, actions that may lead to liability for ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network or its Volunteers, disruption of access to other Users or networks, and violation of applicable laws or regulations. ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network may revise this Agreement at any time. You must accept this Agreement each time you use the Service and it is your responsibility to review it for any changes each time.
All users who use this Government-owned ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network Service must read this agreement.
I will not change the physical or logical configuration of the ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network, including changing the physical location of hardware and connecting other electronic devices.
I understand the following actions are prohibited on government systems or network and I agree to refrain from them:
Accessing, storing, processing, displaying, distributing, transmitting or viewing material that is pornographic or racist, promotes hate crimes, or is subversive in nature.
Storing, accessing, processing, or distributing classified, proprietary, sensitive, For Official Use Only (FOUO), or Privacy Act protected information in violation of established security and information release policies.
Obtaining, installing, copying, transferring, or using software or other materials obtained in violation of the appropriate vendor’s patent, copyright, trade secret, or license agreements.
Knowingly; writing, coding, compiling, storing, transmitting or transferring malicious software code (e.g. viruses, logic bombs, worms, or Trojan horses).
Other uses incompatible with public service, conflicting with government interests, violating the Joint Ethics Regulation (DODD 5500.75).
Disclaimer: You acknowledge (i) that the Service may not be uninterrupted or error-free; (ii) that viruses or other harmful applications may be available through the Service; (iii) that ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network does not guarantee the security of the Service and that unauthorized third parties may access your computer or files or otherwise monitor your connection; (iv) that ON BASE WIFI WiFi Network’s ability to provide the Service without charge is based on the limited warranty, disclaimer and limitation of liability specified in this Section and it would require a substantial charge if any of these provisions were unenforceable. The service and any products or services provided on or in connection with the service are provided on an “as is”, “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
