Americable proactively contacts a small number of customers whose usage is considered excessive to notify them of the excessive use and to assess a usage fee for their excess usage. Americable also employs network management techniques to de-prioritize the consumption activity of individual customer account that is using a disproportionate amount of bandwidth.
